The traveler also has a costume. What, you normally wear your hippy skirt in the streets of Melbourne? Or your Teva sandals in Germany? No wait, you keep your money belt on when riding the BART in San Francisco, is that it? Yeah, you've got a costume too.

I have heard so many negative things about Venezuela from other travelers and bits online that I'm fairly nervous to cross the entire country, from the Caribbean coast of Colombia to Guiria, the port town in Venezuela, by myself.
Cosmetic surgery is cheap, and plastic-filled boobs and butts abound. This city is more worried about the outside than the inside.
I was instantly enchanted by this pueblo. You know when you've been traveling for awhile, and you don't really find anything that fits you, and then you finally get to a place you like and it's like SIGH! So this is why I travel!
I'm a big fan of the pueblos in Colombia. Maybe "fan" doesn't describe it accurately… it's more like a "Hi I'm Jasmine, and I'm a pueblo addict," kind of thing.
