The Unconventional Beauty of Mexico City (Photos)

Mexico City is one of the most attractive cities I’ve lived in. There are green spaces everywhere, gorgeous buildings and homes range in styles from colonial to futuristic, and the streets are kept clean.

While I appreciate tidy and pretty, I also find the decaying, deteriorating, weird, ugly, and quirky even more interesting. These are a few of my favorite photos that reflect the unconventional beauty of the city.

Nice photos of Mexico City. I was born there, now I live in Canada… sometimes I miss D.F.

    saludos

  • Hey Page, I am truly enjoying your city. I’m glad you liked the photos :)

    You are truly an
eccentric traveler. I mean, being able to see the odd as something edgy is so
    cool!

  • Cyril Bennett

Yeah most people would take pics of historical and remarkable places in Mexico; but you took pics of very ordinary things and have seen something so unique and different which make it all the more interesting.

These are very provocative pics; which make us reconsider our own reality. Crafty and genuine stuff!

    I love the way you
captured these places or objects in its bare sense. Very creative traveler!

    I hope to see more
odd pics. It is very interesting actually; I’m a photographer and I also take
pics of the same approachy and nature.

  • Cindy Schimmel

    Very clever and
authentic. I love the angles and the whole approach to the images. Can’t wait
    to see more of it.
