The internet connection is too slow in San Pedro La Laguna to upload a lot of photos right now, but here are 3 of my favorites from Panajachel.

Tonight is my first night in San Pedro La Laguna. I came over on a small lancha this afternoon. As soon as I walked up the small hill, I met a guy who works in the tourism industry. He brought me to a nice place that I’m staying in now with a hammock and beautiful views. Then he started telling me about a Spanish school in the area.

Antigua is a cute little town with cobblestone roads and lots of colors. Several churches and other structures had been destroyed by earthquakes in the 1700s, so there are a few ruins to explore, including la Iglesia de San Francisco, home of Hermano Pedro.
