Hi everyone!  I just wanted to give you an update… Right now I’m in Trinidad.  I came down for Carnival on Sunday.  I was up for about 48 hours straight, dancing in the streets, getting splashed with paint and having the time of my life.  I hope to get some photos uploaded today or tomorrow [...]

These photos are from a trip I took to Trinidad for 3 weeks in October/November 2009. I was just in time to celebrate Diwali Nagar and experience the change in atmosphere around elections… too late for mango season though :(

Tobago is a ferry ride from Trinidad, or a super short flight.  My uncle’s mom has a time share here, so I was fortunate enough to stay right on the beach for free.  It doesn’t get more chill than Tobago.  The people are friendly, the pace is relaxed, and it’s safe.
