Playa del Carmen and Tulum Ruins in Photos

Playa del Carmen is one of the prettiest beaches I’ve seen… ever. Silky white sand, deep blue sky, multi-colored waters – it doesn’t get much better than this.

Tulum

Just an hour’s ride in a colectivo (shared van) are the ruins of Tulum. While not as impressive as some other ruins I’ve seen, the ancient Mayan buildings perched on the cliff overlooking the ocean do provide dramatic scenery.
